Client Stories
Jody, Northern Rivers, NSW
Jody’s house had been flooded and was being rebuilt. To help fund the rebuild she and her teenage daughter were moving into the downstairs part of the house, which was still a work in progress. She listed the upstairs on Airbnb and secured a booking for a couple of months.
My aim was to help her feel positive about the time in the downstairs unfinished space and to create something that was not just functional but beautiful and enhancing as well. Read more

About me
Hi! I’m Christine!
I’ll let you into a secret: I haven’t always been a naturally neat person. Growing up I shared a room with my sister. My side was messy and chaotic. Hers neat and tidy.
Fortunately, something shifted as I got older: I learned to appreciate simplicity and things having their place. Now I love having a home that feels nurturing and harmonious.
Opening my doors to Airbnb guests helped me hone the skills of making a space feel intentional and inviting, simple without being stark. It gives me great pleasure to be hospitable and invite people into my home without having the stress of the big clean-up beforehand.
I regularly make changes at home: moving on furniture that is showing its age, introducing items that will function better, donating or discarding clothing, books, and kitchenware that I’m no longer using, selling or passing on things that may be useful to someone else. That way the things that surround me reflect who I am and my life today.
Now I love sharing these skills with other people who need a hand or want to achieve a lot in a short time. I enjoy meeting people and bring my empathetic listening skills, intuition, and love of interiors to every job.
My aim is to help you create a home you love to live in and to give you a feeling of space that is open and expansive.
I’d love to meet you soon,
Christine Long
